Hi - I’m Ricki, NO – its not my birth name and NO, I’m not telling!! I got my first camera at 11 years old and I thought it was HOT!! It was a Kodak pocket camera and I could change the sticker decal to match my creative mood!! My second camera at 18 was a Nikon FM2, it was and still is a gem…and…I still have it! I started working in the professional photography industry 20+ years ago and professionally assisted editorial and fashion photographers. I also photographed live bands and I’m pretty sure irrevocably damaged my eardrums!!

Add in a 6 year move to Los Angeles working in the film industry, a move back to Toronto as a business owner; fast forward… kids…fast forward….Photography at Humber College, working at custom portrait photography studios, shooting weddings, Bar &Bat Mitzvahs & all sorts of birthday events….. and here we are!

I’d love to tell you that your cherished moments are my cherished moments and sugar coat all the reasons why you should have me take your photos. I am a lover of photography, always have been and always will. Some kids make scrap books of famous actors and bands, I made them of famous photographers. Since I care deeply about this art from I will tell you – the only reason you should choose someone as your photographer is that you really really like their photography, you feel connected to their creative vision and you trust them to work with you to produce the high quality product you are looking for.

It is essential that you feel comfortable, relaxed and have fun with your photographer because that will definitely reflect in the creative process, the visual memories you create and the images you hang on your wall. Wether we are shooing at my home studio, your home or at an outside location, my wish is for you to enjoy the process of documenting this time in your lives and love the images we create for many happy and healthy years to come.
