Its true. Sooner or later you will shop at Li’l Niblets & Baby Sprouts. If you have shopped there already, you understand completely when I say you will always find the newest, coolest and best baby products on the market. You will also find the most helpful sales people . There is something about that place that just makes me feel good. I’ve been shopping there for 7 years and I can confidently say they carry the best Canadian baby products available as well as the most unique and helpful items from around the world. Almost makes me want another baby, and that my friend, is a hard thing to accomplish. I love the two I have now but the 60lbs I put on with both of them plus severe nausea and bed rest was a huge deterrent for a third!! Anyway, today I had one of the most bizarre experiences I’ve had living in Toronto. After driving 1.5 hours to a doctors appointment that apparently never existed, I found myself stopping in at Li’l Niblets on Avenue Rd & Lawrence for a pick me up. Many of you know my kids are no longer babies and your wondering since my youngest is 5, why I’m still shopping there. Because they have great stuff for older siblings and I pick up baby gifts there too. I shop there for the accessories I need and after seeing what s new, the things I didn’t know I needed!! Now they are doing a monthly contest for a $100 gift certificate for their store!!! So as I started, sooner or later you will shop at Li’l Niblets & Baby Sprouts, its by far the best baby store in this city. Make it sooner and enter the monthly contest for $100 gift certificate !!!

How did 20 days go by without a post? I had vowed not to let this happen. But it did. Wedding & Prom season started and I’ve been fortunate to be a part of both. Its funny, I have seen a number of children and family photographers slowly drift into weddings and I wondered, could this be a money thing? Could the family portraiture business be plummeting in this economy? Well I have my answer folks….

Its the most happy day of someones life and they have planned months and months for it, if not a whole year. All those details that were pondered on again and again by countless people and finally chosen, have all come together for this one brief day. I love capturing all the things the bride, groom and their families put their heart and soul into choosing and yet on this day may not have the chance to fully appreciate their coming together. Thanks for a very special and wonderful day N&C (and of course David). I am grateful I was able to be a part of your day. My best to you both.

Hurry up and get your camera out!!! Today’s Parent Magazine is having a contest for one seriously fantastic looking cute kid to be on the cover of their magazine! Since opening up my own photography business I have had the pleasure of photographing some of the cutest kids both new and grown. I know you have them – so take out your camera and start shooting. How great would it be to have a picture of your kid on Today’s Parent Magazine as a keepsake ??? I wish I could apply – certainly if you know my kids you know I have a couple of runway wannabees – but sadly as a professional I cannot. But that doesn’t mean you can’t . So start shooting and let me know how your images look. If you need a pointer or two on how to dress your child or what camera preset will work best for your location, give me a call.
